be+grudge. when you have a grudge on somebody you always wish ill for him begru+dge--begru sounds like beggars. Beggars usually wish ill to others as their own situation is bad. begrudge can be broken into beg + rude. So if someone who behave rudely with beggars, the beggar will 'wish ill' for that person.
